Support the archive
This archive holds hundreds of noha, manqabat, soz-o-salaam and marsiya — in Urdu and Roman — collected and transcribed over many years so that azadars anywhere can read the kalaam of their reciters, online or off. It has no login, no subscription and no locked pages, and it never will: the words belong to the poets and reciters, and keeping them open is the whole point.
What it does cost is hosting, a domain, and the hours spent typing and checking each transcription. If the archive has been useful to you in a majlis, on a bus, or at 2am looking for a line you half remember, you can help carry it as a sadaqah jariyah — an ongoing charity — and, if you wish, as isaal-e-sawab for someone you have lost. Every reading that follows is shared with you.
Choose an amount (USD)
Sandbox mode — you are signed in as admin, so these buttons open Stripe's test checkout. Use card 4242 4242 4242 4242, any future expiry, any CVC. Nothing is charged, and the thank-you page records it as a test.
Payments are handled by Stripe on its own secure page; this site never sees your card details. Amounts are in US dollars and your bank converts at its usual rate.
How the money is used
Hosting and the domain first, then the transcription hours — turning Roman-only entries into proper Urdu text, and adding new kalaam as it is recited each year. Nothing is promised in return, and nothing changes about what you can read here whether you give or not.
Other ways to help
Spot a mistake in a lyric? Every page has a Suggest a correction link. Know a kalaam that is missing? Send it through the contact page. A correct verse is worth more to the archive than anything else.
